Universal Pre-K

About the Program

The Pre-Kindergarten For All Program is a quality program five days a week that is open to Y members and the community. We focus on developing children by providing a safe, nurturing environment where they are intellectually, socially, and physically stimulated while participating in enriching and fun activities.

Each class has openings for 18 children. Children will be taught by highly qualified, certified teachers and teacher's assistants. The curriculum places a high priority on creating an environment in the classroom that encourages children to experiment, explore, and pursue their own interests.

Pre-K For All is a partnership with the New York City Department of Education and is licensed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

This program runs on a school calendar from September to June. We offer class from 8:30 AM-2:50 PM five days a week, Monday through Friday. Our full day session is 6 hours and 20 minutes long.

Children must be 4 years old by December of the current school year in order to participate. Limited space is available.
