When you order a service, register for a conference, camp, guest room or with Alumnet, pledge support, renew membership or submit a resume for employment with our career info, we will collect and maintain your name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, order selections, credit card or other payment information, order number, referring URL, IP address, page you bought from or registered on and a password. Before confirming your order, pledge, or membership form, you will have the opportunity to review the order and make changes and additions to the information it contained and these changes will be automatically kept for future use. Registering for Guest Rooms The personally identifiable information that is collected from you when registering for a guest room includes: your name, address, e-mail, phone number and credit card information[2], this information is used to hold your reservations and billing purposes. State law may require that guest room operators collect and retain this information. We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the integrity of all information collected. Registering for Camp or Conferences When you register for a conference or camp we collect the camper’s name, date of birth gender, school name, grade and require Parent or Guardian information including: Employer/Business name contact telephone number, address and credit card information. Pursuant to this Privacy Policy, user’s under the age of 13 cannot submit information or use this Website; users over the age of 13 must have parental consent prior to submitting information to the YMCA of Greater New York. Therefore, the YMCA will not accept any registration forms that do not have the Parent or guardian section completed. Pledging Support The personally identifiable information that the YMCA collects from you when you pledge your support to the YMCA of Greater New York includes: your name, address, e-mail, phone number and credit card information, when you provide it. The information is used to provide you a receipt for your gift and to bill your credit card when applicable. Joining and Alumni Network When you join the YMCA of Greater New York or change your address on Alumni Network the YMCA collects your name, address, e-mail, phone number, employer information, family information, and credit card information, when you provide it. This information is used to mail you membership and alumni information as well as information that you request when completing the membership application. We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the integrity of all information collected. Online Surveys and Polling In order to improve our services to you, we may ask some of our customers to voluntarily complete surveys, which may be collected by an independent third party.
