Gear up for your first day

Get set for your first day! You will receive an email from our Human Resources department with an agenda of your first day. The agenda will include the time, location, dress code, parking information, and other details of the day. Please review the agenda and make sure you have everything you need for your first day. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact your manager or Human Resources.

  1. Look out for the first day agenda in your email.
  2. Prepare your questions and expectations: Think about what you want to learn, achieve, and contribute in your new role.
  3. Pack essentials like a notebook, pen, water bottle, and snacks.
  4. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early and dress appropriately.

  1. What is the dress code? The dress code varies by department and your role. Generally, business casual attire is appropriate. Please refer to the specific guidelines provided in your welcome packet or contact HR for more details.
  2. What time should I arrive? Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the orientation events. This will give you ample time to settle in and prepare for the day ahead.
  3. Who should I report to on my first day? You will initially report to the HR department, and subsequently, you will meet with your direct manager. Please refer to the details in the email from HR regarding the exact location and time.
  4. What documents should I bring? Please bring the following documents: 
    a. I-9 recommended forms (ID, Passport, Resident Card, etc.) 
    b. Social Security Card 
    c. For PAYROLL DIRECT DEPOSIT - please bring a voided check, a photocopy of a voided check, or a letter from your bank confirming your account details.
  5. Will I receive an employee handbook? Yes, you will receive an employee handbook during orientation. It contains important information about company policies, procedures, and culture.
  6. What should I do if I’m running late or unable to make it on my first day? If you’re running late or have an emergency, please contact HR as soon as possible. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and will accommodate accordingly.
  7. Are there opportunities for career advancement? Absolutely. We encourage professional growth and offer various career advancement opportunities based on performance and company needs.
