Shotokan is a karate practice that teaches self-defense through a series of specific forms. This Shotokan Karate class will be a challenging workout, with a focus on form and technique.

Intermediate - Ages 11-17
Classes teach the basics of the classical ballet movement through various fundamental techniques. Children will develop flexibility, balance, coordination, and musicality through expressive art while refining elegance and grace.

With the direction of a YMCA instructor, parents will guide participants through basic tumbling skills. In addition, they will learn social skills and develop a sense of hand-eye and large motor coordination through various activities.
Beginner - Ages 1-3
Our participants bring their imagination to life through literature, reading, and the arts in our YMCA Separation Enrichment classes. In addition, children explore their world through science, hands-on activities, and experiments. From erupting volcanoes to experimenting with matter in different forms to Picasso, this class invites children to explore the wonders of science, literature, and art.
The Y offers three enrichment classes per week per session—Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 12 PM each day. The session runs for eight weeks. Drop off only.

The class introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration.
Focuses on exploring body positions, blowing bubbles, and fundamental safety and aquatic skills.
Preschoolers develop comfort with underwater exploration and are introduced to basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance.

Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique.
