Universal Pre-K & 3-K for All

Our Pre-K & 3-K for All Program, ranked highest in our district, is a quality program five days a week that is open to Y members and the community. We focus on developing children by providing a safe, nurturing environment where they are intellectually, socially, and physically stimulated while participating in enriching and fun activities. Children will be taught by highly qualified, certified teachers. The curriculum integrates learning centers with a theme-based approach to learning encouraging children to experiment, explore and pursue their own interests.

Additionally, each classroom is equipped with listening, block, math/science, library, computer, dramatic play, art, and sand and water centers. In addition to classroom activities the children will enjoy our own YMCA playground and access to the YMCA studio and gym space. See photos our classrooms here, here, and here. 

Pre-K & 3-K for All is a partnership with the New York City Department of Education and is licensed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

*Our Pre-K program is open to children born in 2020.  Our 3-K program is open to children born in 2021. Limited space is available. 

Early Childhood Aftercare Program (8-week session from October to June)

Offered Monday through Friday until 4:00PM, for children ages 3-4 years old. 

Pricing: (Please note that prices are subject to change)

Members: $142 per session 

Community: $207 per session

Science Adventure Day (Mondays)

3:10pm-4:00 pm 

This class will provide hands on exploration of the wonders of science with experiments and fascinating discoveries.

Healthy & Yummy Recipes (Wednesdays)

3:10pm-4:00 pm 

Healthy & yummy recipes are introduced as children cook up a fun recipe every week. Children will prepare and enjoy different foods while measuring, counting, sharing, and learning about nutrition.

Reading for FUN (Thursdays)

3:10pm-4:00 pm 

A reading readiness class where children are exposed to alphabet letters and their formation and sounds. The activities are intended to help your child attain pre-reading skills.

Mandarin Fun (Fridays)

3:10pm-4:00 pm 

Children will engage in conversation through learning basic words in Mandarin. They will see the written word, hear the pronunciation and learning the meaning of words through picture clues
