Cardio

Cardio Boxing
This high energy class blends athletic drills with martial arts to create an intense cardiovascular workout

Spin
An intense cardio workout of simulated road bike riding to energizing music.

Insanity®
Intense Cardio based on max interval training. Complete with athletic/plyometric drills mixed with strength, power, resistance and core training. No equipment or weights used.

Step Class
This includes Hi-lo impact and choreographed movements to keep your heart pumping and your muscles working.

Zumba®
The fusion of Latin and International music, utilizing dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness program. The routines feature aerobic interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.

Boot Camp
An efficient circuit training workout that challenges your entire body, utilizing calisthenics such as pushups, jumping jack, crunches and other body weight exercises.

POUND
POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and isometric poses.

Yoga, Pilates, and Stretch

Barre Class
A combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like Yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.

Gentle Yoga
Designed to teach basic yoga postures that will enhance flexibility, strength and balance and promote relaxation.

Hatha Yoga
Integrates postures, breathing exercises, relaxation, and meditation to stretch, strengthen, and condition.

Pilates Mat
Based on original Pilates techniques, this class is designed to restore muscular balance, improve posture, helps prevent injury and build strength and flexibility.

PiYo
This class combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. You’ll use your body weight to perform a single series of continuous, targeted moves to define every single muscle.

Stretching
An essential component of fitness that is often neglected or left out in preference for developing other areas of fitness. This class uses a variety of stretching methods to gradually increase muscle strength and extend the range of movements at the joints. This may help prevent injury and improve performance of health and sports related activities.

Tai Chi (T’ai Chi)
A complete health and martial-art system that combines stretching, strength and balance exercises, graceful movement, breathing techniques, self-defense and meditation.

Vinyasa Yoga
Flowing sequences of yoga poses linked together by an emphasis on breathing technique.

Adult Ballet
A technique class that places emphasis and attention on alignment and placement of the body.

Ballroom Dance
Learn the basics of ballroom including fox trot, waltz, swing, cha-cha, rumba, tango.

Belly Dance
A dance movement class that focuses on the core muscles, emphasizing muscular isolations. Dance to Middle Eastern rhythms while learning traditional movements and combinations.

Strength and Conditioning

Core Training
This class focuses on deep abdominal and back muscles through training to improve stability and overall body strength.

Kettlebells
This is a total body workout that blends highly effective techniques for improving muscular endurance, total body coordinated movements and cardiovascular conditioning. Each movement and progression is taught with an emphasis on safety, highlighting essential body alignment.

TRX®
Suspension training exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. The TRX suspension trainer is a performance tool that leverages gravity and the users body weight to complete various exercises.

Total Body Conditioning
A full body workout designed to strengthen and tone the upper and lower body using sculpting, plyometric training, and hand-held weights for body segments.

Water Aerobics

Silver Splash
Nationally certified by the YMCA of the USA. This class is intended to decrease pain and/or stiffness, improve or maintain joint flexibility, increase muscle strength, improve coordination and endurance, and give participants an overall sense of well being. Class is performed in shallow water.

Senior Fitness

Active Older Adults
A low intensity workout designed for older adults with arthritis or other joint challenges, utilizing light weights and dyna bands.

AOA Chair
Move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength, range of motion, and activity for daily living skills. Light weights, bands, and exercise balls are offered for resistance and a chair is used for seated support.

AOA Stretch
Will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.

Silver Splash
Nationally certified by the YMCA of the USA. This class is intended to decrease pain and/or stiffness, improve or maintain joint flexibility, increase muscle strength, improve coordination and endurance, and give participants an overall sense of well being. Class is performed in shallow water.

Silver Sneakers
Small group training class for adults 60 and older who want to get in shape in a safe environment. This is a strength training workout designed to teach use of proper form and technique in the weight room. All classes will include use of selectorized weight training machines, free weights, a cardio conditioning segment and stretching exercises.
