The next eight-week session of classes begins the week of February 25, 2019. Registration opens for YMCA members on February 9, and for community members on February 16.

Ballet

Kids in this age group are introduced to a more formal structured ballet class. Curriculum is carefully designed to their age and cognitive abilities. This age group focuses on foundational exercises, floor ballet stretches, intro to turns and jumps.

Learn and master the basics of passing, dribbling and shooting and practice your offense and defense in fun scrimmages.

School Age Basketball League

The Dodge Y’s Youth Basketball League emphasizes the importance of having fun and playing basketball, while also developing social skills and learning about healthy lifestyles.

Kindersports

Introduce your child to the world of sports and early fitness. Skills are broken down and modified into fun games for our young athletes. Children work on hand-eye and foot-eye coordination and directional skills, and build competence in basic sports skills.

Soccer

Our soccer classes, for toddlers through teenagers, teach skills, improve coordination, and encourage fair play, positive attitude, and teamwork.

Tennis

Young kids learn to play with kid-sized racquets, slower and lower-bouncing balls, and older students are taught fundamental and advanced techniques of groundstroke, volley, and overhead strokes.

Yoga for Kids

Our yoga program focuses on appropriate poses and breathing technique, and is a great introduction to the mind-body-spirit aspect of exercise to develop focus and relaxation.

Private Sport Lessons

Participants are coached according to their age and skill level. Classes are one hour in length. Sports offered include basketball, soccer, tennis and t-ball. Please note that lessons are subject to instructor availability.
