YMCA Weight Loss Program

Learn how to eat healthier, move more, and lose weight with the YMCA's Weight Loss Program. No gimmicks no restrictive approaches — just the tools you need to achieve your wellness goals.

This program will provide strategies to incorporate nutrition and physical activity into your lifestyle, keep you motivated, and address the obstacles and pitfalls that make losing weight, and keeping it off, a challenge. You'll meet weekly with a small group for one hour in a classroom. This supportive network will help when the going gets tough and celebrate success along the way.

YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program

Take control! Reduce your risk of diabetes and gain tools for a healthy living through the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program. In a classroom setting, a trained lifestyle coach will help facilitate a small group of participants to learn about eating healthy and physical activity. Participants meet monthly to help them maintain their progress.

Y Fit Start Program

If you’ve been thinking about exercising but don’t know where to begin, the Y Fit Start Program is for you. It’s designed for those new to exercising or those who haven’t exercised for some time and want instruction, support, and motivation. The Y Fit Start Program will help you develop and maintain your regular exercise routine.

A free program for adult cancer survivors to achieve their holistic health goals, LIVESTRONG at the Y offers a personalized physical activity and well-being program, and provides a supportive community. 

Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to achieve their goals, such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing flexibility and endurance; and improving confidence and self-esteem. In addition to physical benefits, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA focuses on the emotional well-being of survivors and their families by providing a supportive community where people impacted by cancer can connect during treatment and beyond.
