The Park Slope Armory Y offers a comprehensive health and fitness program for Active Older Adults, ages 55 and older. Older adult group exercise classes are excellent for rehabilitation, building and maintaining strength and flexibility, and just feeling great!

AOA classes are free for Y members. Not a member? You're always welcome at the Y. There is a fee for AOA class participation.


AOA Yoga
Older adult yoga class teaches the basics of yoga with a gentle approach.

AOA Chair
Older adult chair-based yoga class that integrates postures, breathing exercises, relaxation, and meditation to stretch, strengthen, and condition all from the comfort of a chair. 

AOA Chair: Core & Stretch
A great class to focus on our core strength, balance and flexibility. 

AOA Walk
A special time for those 55 and older to come together and get some exercise and socialize. Enjoy a walk inside on our world-class track, especially on those cold and rainy days.
