SWIM LESSONS UPDATE: Please be aware that the Rockaway YMCA will not be running swim lessons for the Fall I session from 9/7/21 - 10/31/21. Adult lap swim will still be available. Swim lessons will resume for the Fall II session starting 11/1/21.

Indoor and Outdoor Group Exercise 

Indoor group exercise classes are now open! All classes are included with membership, and reservations are required for select classes and activities due to government requirements and space restrictions. See our schedule below. Adults can drop in to play basketball - both shootaround and games. First come, first serve—no reservations necessary.

Sign up for a game of pickleball in the gymnasium! Download the Y's mobile app and create an account to reserve a 45 minute slot to play pickleball.

Teen Access (Ages 12+)

Teen Members or Teen on a Family Membership
You can come during the Teen Fitness Center hours:

  • Mon-Thu: 3 PM-7 PM
  • Sat-Sun: 8 AM-3 PM

Teen on a Family Membership
You can also come anytime the Y is open, as long as you are with an adult from your family membership.

All teens ages 12 through 17 are required to complete a fitness equipment orientation before using the fitness equipment. Contact Heidi to make an appointment.

  • Sat: 10:15 - 11 AM
