Benjamin Lim is a former collegiate football player, current natural competitive bodybuilder, and personal trainer. He has had a passion for fitness from a young age, participating in a wide variety of sports including football, baseball, track, and soccer.

Benjamin believes that living a healthy lifestyle should be a sustainable endeavor that works alongside the various external factors individuals face every day. He is deeply passionate about fitness and believes it should be incorporated into everyone’s life, as it benefits nearly every facet of life regardless of fitness level.

Bio

Bilqis Z. Benu has over 20 years of experience in wellness, fitness, and recreational programming. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Adaptive Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Brooklyn College. She is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Licensed Massage Therapist.

Bilqis began her fitness career as a Personal Trainer and went on to serve as a Fitness Program Coordinator for the U.S. Army and Recreation Director for the U.S. Navy. Throughout her career, she has led community fitness initiatives, wellness retreats, and large-scale recreational and fitness events, including competitive fitness events, large-scale recreational music events, and organizing major endurance events such as Army 10-miler races.

Her passion lies in creating inclusive, impactful programs that promote long-term wellness, community engagement, and accessible fitness for all populations.

Brady Bains is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with over 10 years of experience at the YMCA, where he has built strong connections within the community. He holds certifications as a NASM Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, and TRX Suspension & RIP Training specialist.

Brady specializes in weight loss, strength building, and flexibility training. Known for his calm, adaptable, and patient approach, he is also reliable, transparent, and creative in his coaching style. Brady prides himself on creating a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable, motivated, and understood.

Fun fact: many of Brady’s clients talk to him about their lives as if he were their therapist — and they often call him exactly that.

Cancellations and Policies: A client may cancel directly with the trainer without penalty by giving 24 hours notice. If notice is not given within a 24-hour period, the client will be charged for the session. All sessions are valid for one year from date of purchase. Only YMCA training staff are permitted to conduct personal training sessions within the facility.
