The annual Hispanic Achievers Awards & Reception, a joint partnership between the YMCA of Greater New York and Colgate-Palmolive, celebrates leadership and excellence in the Hispanic community.The funds raised through this program empower Hispanic youth to achieve educational goals and attend college; they help working families to maintain jobs through reliable childcare; and they provide essential community support networks that so many families need today.This initiative also provides two college scholarships for two outstanding young Hispanic Scholars, participating in the life-changing college access program known as Y Rowe Scholars, serving predominantly Hispanic and Black youth, who are often the first in their families to attend college.
