Thank you to everyone who supported our 5th Annual YMCA of Greater New York Hispanic Achievers Reception which took place on Thursday, November 7th at The Yale Club in partnership with the Colgate-Palmolive Company! This event raised nearly $150,000 in support of the Y’s Rowe Scholars program, putting more young New Yorkers on the path toward college.
Want to support the Y’s Rowe Scholars program? There’s still time to make a donation.
Congratulations to Hector Batista, Gio Benitez, and Wendy Garcia on their Outstanding Leadership Awards, and to the 2019 Corporate Hispanic Achievers: Karelis Barrios, Maria Castro Vainer, Evelyn Crespo, Claudia Barrera, Julia Youssef, and William Aguado.
Now in its fifth year, this reception continues to serve as an important platform for identifying, inspiring and developing our City’s next generation of Hispanic business and civic leaders. As such, Y Rowe Scholars Brian and Tiana were awarded scholarships for college.
