AUGUST 2026

Your August Camp Catch-up

Y campers petting pony at camp

There’s nothing like summer at the Y. Our branches are full of adorable kids in matching camp shirts, ready for another adventure.

It’s also a place for everyone. That’s why we’re especially grateful for our partnership with the Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation, bringing inclusion camp sites to the Y so that children of all abilities get to enjoy the magic of camp. Currently, the Y has 13 locations, two of which are new this year at the Dodge and Vanderbilt Ys.

You have more in common with our Golf and Gala honorees than you may think

Honoree Theodora Diamantis, Skanska USA, with her daughter at Golf and Gala

Theodora Diamantis is a highly accomplished Senior VP and Account Manager at Skanska USA. She’s also been a working single mother who raised four young children. “The Y gave my kids a safe place to learn, compete, grow, and build confidence, while giving me the peace of mind that they were surrounded by caring coaches, mentors, and role models,” she shared at the July 27 event.

And Maureen Bosetti, Chief Investment Officer at Omnicon Media, is making room for more voices. She leads with a deep commitment to giving back, mentoring students at her alma mater, Fordham University.

“I think about the young people in this city right now who are figuring out who they want to become. Some of them will find that answer in a classroom. Some will find it on a team, in a pool, in an afterschool program—in one of the thousands of small, unglamorous moments the Y creates every single day.”

This work is possible because of donors like you, and as Maureen put it, is “funded in no small part by nights like [Golf and Gala].”

A huge thank you to the committee! Co-Chairs: Larry Bremer, Toby Byrne, Carrie Drinkwater, Chris Geraci, Josh Feldman, Molly Finnerty, Jeni Gardner, Mike Law, Kris Magel, Amanda Richman, Elizabeth Rutledge, Zach Severson, Rich Steimel, Jon Stimmel, Charlie Whitney.
