What could be cooler than sleepaway camp in the summer? Winter sleepaway camp, of course. With a full roster of traditional and new camp activities adapted for the season, campers get everything they love about summer camp with a cool new twist. Play team games in our 15,000 sq foot field house, slide on a tube down a snowy slope (weather permitting), learn to snow shoe or cross country ski, try indoor archery, discover how animals survive in the cold or create an imaginative craft. As evening falls, enjoy s’mores by a warm fire. End the day with a good night’s rest in cozy, heated accommodations.

Camp Fires & S’mores
A full day of winter fun is fueled by three hot meals and two snacks. Our kid-friendly food is both healthy and delicious. And as always, we are happy to accommodate allergies and other special dietary needs.
Campers, grouped by gender and grade, live in one of our four traditional dorms, which are heated and have a shared bathroom (with private showers) on each hall. Each room is shared by up to 8 campers and 2 counselors. A common room with a fire place, game tables and comfy couches allows campers in the same dorm to enjoy down time with their friends and counselors before turning in each night.
Winter camp tuition is $469.
New York YMCA Camp provides coach bus transportation to-and-from camp for a small fee. For winter camp, we offer pick up locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
