Basketball

Rookies Basketball Clinic
Ages 4-6

Introduce your child to the game of basketball. Smaller basketballs and lower baskets are used to build confidence and proper skills, but most importantly to have fun!

Flag Football

Ages 5-17

Participants will learn the fundamentals of football, the rules of the game, good sportsmanship, as well as healthy lifestyle habits in our beginner and semi-pro flag football classes. These classes are free for Y family members!

Tumbling Tots
Ages 3-5

This introductory tumbling class helps your little one start moving on the gymnastics mat under the close supervision of our gymnastics coaches.

Multi-Sports

Sports Sampler
Ages 4-6

A sports sampler program in which children experience different sports such as flag football, basketball, and soccer while improving their gross motor skills. These classes are free for Y family members!

Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do
Ages 4-14

A Korean martial art similar to karate, Tae Kwon Do emphasizes kicking, striking and blocking as applied to the art of self-defense. As children are introduced to this traditional training style, they will explore self-defense, physical fitness and stress relief as well as gain increased confidence, mental focus and heightened self-awareness.

Table Tennis & Ping-Pong

Ages 6-12

Table tennis, or ping-pong, is an easy to play, fun, low impact sport that has multiple benefits for its participants. Table tennis improves hand-eye coordination and aids in the strengthening of bones and muscle development. The repetitive and multidirectional movements promote your child’s agility and flexibility. These classes are free for Y family members!

Ages 6-12

Young kids learn to play with kid-sized racquets, slower and lower-bouncing balls, and older students are taught fundamental and advanced techniques of groundstroke, volley, and overhead strokes.

New York Road Runners Mighty Milers
Ages 5-12

Track workouts increase quickness, stamina, and endurance for your budding athlete. Through drills, sprints, and pacing techniques, participants will enhance their flexibility and core development. These classes are free for Y family members!

Kid Yoga Fit

Ages 5-11

A playful, creative and functional movement class which combines mind and body work. We use mindful movements, games, share circles, breath work and visualization to move energy through the body as we calm the mind. Ages 7-11

Zumba® takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. These classes are free for Y family members!
