The Senior Director, Culture, Learning and Development will be responsible for orchestrating the cultural and learning initiatives for the Association.  This position provides planning for the broader organization, including identifying individual, group and organizational development opportunities by defining, developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies and programs that drive organizational goals.  This individual will also work closely with department heads to ensure a high quality of learning is being delivered to the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Culture

  • Provide leadership in organizational culture development.
  • Lead the execution of employee engagement strategies.
  • Define change management processes to improve business performance and to develop an equity-driven culture throughout the organization.

Learning

  • Direct employee learning activities across the organization.
  • Lead the execution of learning and employee development strategies to meet short- and long-term Association needs.
  • Support management by creating learning opportunities to bridge job performance gaps.
  • Develop training initiatives designed to increase awareness of sexual harassment, diversity, equity and inclusion values, while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
  • Implement mechanisms that improve the learner experience.
  • Build awareness and education of our learning and development curriculum and practices.

Staff Development

  • Empower employees to feel ownership of their professional and personal growth through impactful trainings and development resources.
  • Create talent development strategies, programs and plans to meet short and long-term Association needs.
  • Implement and execute a talent strategy aimed at strengthening leadership bench (Organizational Talent Review).
  • Coach all levels of staff.


Other

  • Other activities and duties that address the ongoing health and well-being of our staff and members.
  • Follow and maintain sanitary habits in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Desired Skills & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in learning, organizational development, work culture, and/or change management.  Experience conducting an organizational talent review is a plus.
